WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT US
Heather's home is quiet and peaceful and welcoming. The bed in the downstairs master is incredibly comfortable. I never sleep well the first night in a new place but fell right out here. If you're a cook or a baker, you'll find a well stocked kitchen, quality pots, and enough plates and cutlery to go around. The pictures on Airbnb don't do the private backyard justice: beautifully hardscaped with thick, carved natural stone; mature lavender, rosemary and varied ferns; a bamboo backdrop surrounds the back seating; all fenced for those of you with dogs.

Wonderful place if you’re looking for a quiet retreat rather than excitement and activities other than outdoorsy things like hiking. If you want quiet with a deck for sitting and drinking a yummy beverage, and a yard that’s wonderfully private with a lovely hot tub, this is the place!

We loved this house. I was traveling with my mom, husband, two kids (ages 7 and 9), and dog. The view was just amazing. The main part of the house is on the top floor (it is also the floor on which the house entrance from the street is located), so you can enjoy the amazing views from the living area, kitchen and deck. We also loved the backyard—so beautiful and relaxing. The beds and pillows were all so comfortable. We were a 5 min drive from the general store and an even shorter drive to Black Sands Beach and Mal Coombs Park. (The beach at Mal Coombs Park has amazing tide pools.) The spiral staircase inside the house is pretty steep, but there is a safety gate, so children and dogs are safe. There are also regular grade stairs off the deck that can be used to get to the lower level (where the master suite and laundry is located), as well as to access the outdoor guesthouse. We would definitely rent this house again.
